The Mickels, along with Kemdeodra, are celebrating their anniversary with a special concert on July 24 at Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, located at 302 Woodward Street.
The Bobby and Gloria Mickel Gospel Program has been on WAGS radio for five years.
Singer/songwriter Elizabeth Simon of Hartsville will be the special guest.
The following groups will also perform: Roy & Revelation of Columbia; the Legendary Gospel Solo Tones, Sharon Smith & Shabach, the Community Brothers, the Ballard Sisters and the Gospel Cavaliers, all of Camden; the Miller Sisters of Bethune; The Heavenly Airs of Bishopville; the Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church Male Chorus, the Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church Adult Choir, and the St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church Praise Dancers.
Everyone is invited to be part of the Bobby & Gloria Mickel Gospel Program's 5th Radio Anniversary Celebration. The event begins at 4 p.m. at Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, July 24.
